Weaving Intensive Programs

Responding to the recent requests for long term weaving programs and apprenticeships, the school is now offering a series of classes from six to ten weeks that will provide an opportunity to focus intensely in a studio setting. The student will be encouraged to design their own course of study within the parameters of the basic themes or to create a completely individualized study plan. Each session will include the weaving of actual woven articles, weave structure theory, drafting, fiber and fabric identification and a complete book of samples.

Weaving Intensive Themes

Clothing Fabrics - 6 weeks
Dowry Textiles - 8 weeks
Ethnic Rug Techniques - 6 weeks
Linens Plain & Fancy - 8 to 10 weeks

Scheduling and Fees

The long term study program can be started anytime during the year and can be broken up into two or three week intervals. Tuition is by the week as follows:

Week 1	$500.00
Week 2	$400.00
Week 3	$300.00
Week 4 - 10	$250.00 per week

Lodging

Year round lodging is available at Lone Rock Farm close to the school. The school is making arrangements with other inns and bed and breakfasts for long term stays. Contact the school for more lodging information.
